Today the universe mourns the loss of a VOCAL LEGEND, in the form of BENJAMIN EARL KING.
He passed away on Thursday April 30,2015 at the age of 76.
His Hits include, Stand By Me, Dont play that Song also called “You Lied”.

King who said he was influenced by the Greats such as Sam Cooke, Brook Benton
and Roy Hamilton had mega Solo hits which still resounds up until today.
Hits such as , Spanish Harlem, Amor.
As lead singer for the Group THE DRIFTERS he enjoyed their successes with songs such as

THIS MAGIC MOMENT, UNDER THE BOARDWALK and the Sequel SAND IN MY SHOES, UP ON THE ROOF, THERE GOES MY BABY, SAVE THE LAST DANCE FOR ME and a Slew of other Hits.
